Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, subdomains, web applications and mobile applications operated by Crisfix Digital Ltd (“Crisfix”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales. Crisfix® is a registered trademark in the UK.

By creating an account, downloading an app, or using any Crisfix service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our services

Crisfix provides two families of services:

  • Transport & Travel services — the Taxi App, Towing App, Airport Transfers and Live UK Transit (available at taxi.crisfix.com, towing.crisfix.com, transfers.crisfix.com and transit.crisfix.com);
  • Digital & Productivity services — AI Chat, AI Video & Images, SEO Suites, Social Studio and the Invoicing App (available at chat.crisfix.com, video.crisfix.com, seo.crisfix.com, social.crisfix.com and invoices.crisfix.com).

Sections 4 and 5 below contain service-specific terms. General terms in Sections 3 and 6–13 apply to all services.

3. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country) to use our transport services; digital services may be used by persons aged 16+ with parental consent where required by law.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • Currently each Crisfix service has its own registration; a unified Crisfix account is being introduced. Where you use multiple services, each account is governed by these Terms.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

4. Transport & Travel service terms (Taxi, Towing, Transfers, Transit)

  • Bookings. When you request a taxi, tow truck or transfer, we connect you with a licensed, vetted provider. Fares, quotes and pick-up details are confirmed before the job begins. Taxi fares are charged at local council rates with no surge pricing.
  • Independent providers. Drivers, tow operators and transfer vehicles are independent providers, not employees of Crisfix Digital Ltd. We are not a common carrier and do not operate vehicles ourselves.
  • Location and safety. To fulfil your booking we may access your device location (with your permission). You agree to use transport services responsibly and to comply with all applicable laws.
  • Cancellations. You may cancel a booking before the provider is dispatched. After dispatch, the provider’s cancellation policy applies and a fee may be charged.
  • Transit information. Live UK train, bus, tram and coach times are provided in good faith from third-party timetable data and may be delayed or inaccurate. Always check with the operator before travelling; we are not liable for missed journeys based on this information.
  • Refunds. If a booked service cannot be provided, we will refund the relevant amount as set out in our refund policy.

5. Digital & Productivity service terms (AI Chat, AI Video & Images, SEO Suites, Social Studio, Invoicing)

  • Licence. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use our digital services in accordance with these Crisfix Terms and Conditions.
  • Subscriptions. Paid services are billed on the plan you select (monthly or annual). Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law, and we may change pricing with reasonable notice. You are responsible for the content you create and publish.
  • AI-generated content. AI Chat and AI Video & Images produce content generated by AI models. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing and using AI-generated content, including verifying its accuracy and legality before publishing. AI output is provided “as is” and may not be used for any unlawful purpose. You retain responsibility for content you publish using SEO Suites or Social Studio.
  • Invoicing. The Invoicing App is a tool for creating invoices, quotes, receipts and expense records. It is not legal, accounting or tax advice. You are responsible for ensuring your invoices and records comply with applicable tax and accounting laws in your jurisdiction.
  • No guaranteed results. SEO Suites helps automate content creation and link-building, but we do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic, revenue or business outcomes.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use any Crisfix service to: violate any law or regulation; infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; send spam, malware or fraudulent communications; attempt to access other users’ accounts or our systems without authorisation; interfere with or disrupt the services; or generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful or harassing. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

7. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by our payment providers. By paying, you authorise us to charge the fees for the service or subscription you select. Refunds are issued in accordance with applicable consumer law and our refund policy.

8. Intellectual property

  • All software, design, trademarks (including Crisfix®), logos, text and content of our websites and apps are owned by Crisfix Digital Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer them except as permitted by law.
  • You retain ownership of the content you create using our services. By submitting content to us (e.g. prompts, posts scheduled via Social Studio), you grant us a limited licence to process, store and transmit that content solely to provide the service to you.
  • Where our AI tools generate content on your behalf, your rights to that content are as described in the applicable service documentation; you are responsible for any third-party rights in the content you instruct the tools to generate.

9. Third-party services

Our services integrate with third parties, including drivers and tow operators, AI model providers, social media platforms and payment processors. We are not responsible for the availability, conduct, content or services of these third parties. Your use of connected third-party services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  • Our services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crisfix Digital Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our services.
  • Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crisfix Digital Ltd and its officers, employees and providers from any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of our services, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to any service at any time for breach of these Terms, for conduct that harms the service or other users, or as required by law. You may stop using the services and close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 8, 10, 11 and 13) will survive.

13. General

  • Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post changes on this page and notify you where material. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
  • Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, except where mandatory law gives you a right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
  • Contact. For questions about these Terms, contact us at [support@crisfix.com] or via our Crisfix contact page.
